In the current proposed rules, the drone pilot’s location would be made publicly available, which as you can imagine is a hotly debated topic.

DJI Phantom 4 Pro v2.0

The DJI Phantom 4 Pro v2.0 is one of the strongest contenders of drones on the consumer market.

Some of the top characteristics are:

  • OcuSync Transmission System – One of the best upgrades compared to it’s predecessors is the OcuSync HD transmission system between the remote controller and the drone. OcuSync is capable of supporting multiple outputs such as two remote controllers and/or multiple DJI Goggles. In addition, the transmission rates are much improved.
  • Camera Image Sensor – 1-inch 20-megapixel CMOS sensor that can shoot 4K/60fps video as well as Burst Mode stills at 14 fps.
  • Shutter – No More Distortion! The camera consists of a mechanical shutter instead of a rolling shutter. Drones with rolling shutters will produce distortion when the object is moving fast, when the drone is moving fast, or, of course, both!
  • Obstacle Sensing – There are infrared sensing systems in the front, rear, and both sides. The addition of sensors give even more comfort to the operator while performing complex maneuvers.
